Race for Tournament Victory 4.5 TE v2 Tournament Edition: The Next Generation Competitive Edit (TE Edition) TE again

apparently some forum got deleted

today i've managed to salvage the only worthwhile thing that was ever in it:

Unlike many maps of ancient, Race for Tournament Victory 4.5 TE v2 Tournament Edition: The Next Generation Competitive Edit (TE Edition) TE (furthermore referred to as “RFTV”), the TE CTW, strives to increase the gameplay as deeply as possible, using tactics and strats previously unknown to the depths of the mapmakers of old. While it at first may be intimidating to the novice crafter, RFTV provides extreme levels of intuition that would otherwise be unthinkable. Within this map it is crucial to out-strat your opponent as the map requires levels of intellect far beyond that of any currently living (or living-like-state) being in order to experience the map on its most quintessential level.

The main feature of the map is that it there are four (4) lanes upon which gameplay can be located. Two (2) of these four (4) lanes can be found upon the right and left sides of the casual gameplay area. One (1) of these lanes is entirely upside-down of the reverse lane, forcing players to abandon their comfort zones and think outside the box and innovate in order to survive in such a hostile environment, presenting the harshest risk-vs-reward scenario ever seen to date. All four (4) lanes will intersect each other upon a higher-dimensional plane for each wool to create a personalized and unique wool of its own, totalling four (4) wools of which the opposing team must ferry over to their own geometrical Triumph Statue.

Upon initial spawning of the player, they will locate themselves in the direct centre of their team's own side. From this position they are required to find their way towards one (1) of the gameplay areas. Most players will select the down-facing gameplay area, as it is the direction they are often accelerated towards via gravity. This opens the other three (3) gameplay areas, carrying with them a risk-vs-reward scenario of use. In order to safely align themselves on the down-facing gameplay location, the initial player is given nineteen (19) yellow shaded water blocks, with which to remove up to eighty (80) percent of usual fall damage.

Those who have kept themselves informed of gameplay of past wool-capture maps may be intimidated by the near-godlike power allowed by any given player within the gameplay bounds. The map players, totalling up to ten (10) may each have power to remove and place materials of their choice within the block grid. As we feel more power should be shifted from the player toward the initial creator, the player character may only temporarily influence the layout of the gameplay area for average twenty (20) seconds before their changes are returned to that of the initial map design. This allows for we the map creators to further increase gameplay by allowing the map to remain pure of the chaotic intentions of the player character.

While the classical crafter may prefer the bow as their weapon of choice, we feel as though it applies a mood of antiquity onto both the player and the viewer, and will therefore decrease relatability to the gameplay. Instead, we have elected to provide to the player an alternative method of ranged combat, known as the "Gameplay Launcher". While the trajectory of the bow may be parabolic in nature, the Gameplay Launcher is completely linear, severely reducing the need for quadratic equations during combat scenarios. The goal of this Gameplay Launcher is to fire its fireball onto the enemy player character. Upon striking of the enemy, the Gameplay Fireball will set the enemy ablaze with a divine light so great that it will scour the very eyes of the enemy, permanently blinding them. Upon two kills of the enemy, players are rewarded with Increased Gameplay Launcher, for additional firepower.

Nextly, the close quarters combat has been fitted with an additional risk-vs-reward scenario, in the form of the initial stone axe of the player. The stone axe contains within it a supreme energy capable of ripping the very soul-power of the player cleanly off in a single swipe, provided that the spirits within the axe are given ten (10) seconds to gain their composure. Alternatively, the player character may elect to perform their melee combat scenarios using a the initial diamond pickaxe, which requires only one twentieth (0.05) seconds of rest between strikes upon the enemy, thereby attacking at its full power of six (6) additional damage.

Additionally, although the majority portion of maps will only include typical ranged and melee combat within the gameplay, RFTV employs the use of additional nonstandard weapons to the player's arsenal. Within the chest on frontlines, the player will find themselves with useful tools to defeat their opponent, such as fishing rod, cobwebs, creeper spawn eggs, flint and steel, lava buckets, and a stick with knockback one (1). Each of these items may be used alongside the classical weapons in order to more efficiently outplay their opponents, and brings with it it's own unique risk-vs-reward scenario.

An incredibly gaping hole in the previous wool-capture map gameplays is the severe lack of explosive ordinance, to a nearly laughable degree. To remedy this immediate flaw, we have hidden eight (8) cubic metres worth of Trinitrotoluene (known to majority laypeople as "TNT") within each cubic metre of gravel, in turn contained by gameplay-safe gravel containment box. Using the player's newly obtained explosive powers, the player may elect to propel further explosives towards the enemy side, potentially denting their ranks, or may propel themselves towards the enemy side for an offensive front. To guide the offending player, one (1) elytra wing dubbed the "iCarus Wings", containing on it an enchantment of blast protection seven (7), has been fitted to the initial gravel with which the TNT is contained. As a last resort for most teams when a scrim is wanted, the player may launch the iCarus Wings towards the enemy player to disrupt the enemy's velocity backwards.

Upon entering of the wool container, the player character is presented with twenty seven thousand six hundred and forty eight (27648) cubic metres of the designated wool to the room. To assist with the transportation of the wool back to one's (1) own base, the player is given additional gear items within the wool container. The first of these items is the diamond boot pair, powerfully enchanted by manner of protection four (4), fire protection four (4), feather falling four (4), blast protection four (4), projectile protection four (4), respiration three (3), aqua affinity one (1), thorns three (3), depth strider three (3), and is additionally supplemented by the attributes of minus twenty (20) percent zombie reinforcements, minus fifty (50) percent mob follow range, plus forty (40) percent horse jump strength, plus eighty (80) percent speed, plus ten (10) health, plus ten (10) attack damage, plus one (1) attack damage. The second item is a classical bow, enchanted with punch level thirty two thousand seven hundred sixty seven (32767), as well and flame and infinity. The third item is comprised of sixty four (64) items, each made of a single enchanted golden apple.

One (1) flaw that may be immediately apparent to the majority casual player upon first observing this map, is the lack of conventional leather given to the player. However, with long thorough planning and quick thinking, we have added a flavourful alternative to the classical leather acquirement. One (1) must simply obtain eight (8) nether quartz fragments, extracted via pickaxe from any given nether quartz block. Then they must arrange the eight (8) nether quartz fragments into the pattern of the classical chestplate armour piece within the crafting table, in order to obtain one (1) leather fragment.

In maps previous, very low quantities of emphasis has been placed on mid control. This has lead to nearly catastrophic consequences for the gameplay of said map. To remedy this, mid control has been highlighted on the sidebar.

In conclusion, RFTV will bring a new level of competitive skill and strategy to team based Minecraft PvP competitive play, nigh-instantly elevating it to esport status. Any doubters will be silenced as a single gaze upon this map strikes competitive spirit directly into the mind of the observer. With newfound enlightenment, the world will cease any and all conflict in favour of the newly standardized method of resolving conflicts, known only as Race for Tournament Victory 4.5 TE v2 Tournament Edition: The Next Generation Competitive Edit (TE Edition) TE.
