We are excited to announce our seventh tournament: Conquest Reloaded! This will be our second Conquest tournament with an even bigger map pool!

Without further ado let's dive into the tournament details!

Team Information

Teams must have a minimum of 9 players registered on their roster with a maximum of 14 and must must field a minimum of 5 out of 7 players in official matches.

To register for this event, you must first have an account on our website. After creating an account, you can follow the registration guide on our FAQ here. Please remember that all members in the roster need to confirm their participation in the event on the web-page.

Gamemode and Format

Teams will face off in a tournament revolving several "Conquest" gamemodes, which consists of 5CP (Five Capture Points), CTF (Capture the Flag), KotF (King of the Flag), KotH (King of the Hill), and TDM (Team Death Match)! These maps are all 7v7.

This tournament will run on Operation Ares which means there will be some changes to how these gamemodes will run.

This tournament will span over two weekends, the first being a qualifier and the second being a double elimination invitational. We will officially release the tournament format after team registration closes; please check back this thread regularly for updates.

Teams are expected to be ready for their matches and will not be given more than 5 minutes to be ready. Officials will not delay a match regardless of whether a team is ready or not.


Our qualifier will take place on the weekend of August 24th and 25th, and will likely start at 11:00am EDT. The format of this qualifier will feature Best of 5's (Bo5) and will be finalized after we know the exact amount of teams. This information will be released days after registration closes in which a new post will be made here on the forums and on our Event Discord. Be ready to show up to both of those dates.


Our double elimination invitational format will be decided once we know the exact amount of teams sign up and how we're going to handle the qualifier. Those formats should come out on the same day. The invitational is expected to feature Bo5s and possibly Bo7s. This will be played on August 31st and September 1st.


Because most rounds don't allow to play all maps in the map pool, we use a veto system to allow teams to agree on which maps to play.

The veto decider map will be The Complex CP. This will be played before your match starts to determine who gets to start the map veto/picking process first.

Following the completion of the veto decider map, teams will begin vetoing maps back and forth until they reach the number of maps in the pool acceptable for that round (e.g. 5 maps for qualifier rounds, as those are Bo5).

In the event that a round is Bo3: Vetoing for any Bo3 round will have a Team-A, Team-B, Team-A, Team-B veto order, then a Team-A, Team-B, Leftover map picking.

In the event that a round is Bo5: Vetoing for any Bo5 round will have a Team-A, Team-B veto order, then a Team-A, Team-B, Team-A, Team-B, Leftover map picking.


Our map pool will feature 7 maps. Each gamemode will be represented once, while CTF and 5CP will have 2 maps each. We are still looking for new maps and will prioritize maps with the best gameplay even if that means recycling maps used in previous tournaments. The map pool will be finalized at least 1 week before our qualifiers begin. See the maps currently featured in the map pool here.

There will not be a tie breaker map as every single gamemode that runs in Operation Ares cannot possibly tie due to new win conditions and overtime mechanics. Please refer to the "Conquest Changes Coming to Operation Ares" thread for details.


We use Discord to communicate during the event. Each team is assigned a voice and text channel: you will use these to communicate vocally among each other & with our referees, as well as keep up with any announcements/updates.

Once team registration has closed & your team has been confirmed for participation, your team leader will write an email to [email protected] containing their own Discord name & tag (e.g. username#1234). The team leaders will then be contacted privately on Discord and we will ask them to provide the Discord information for each of their team members.

Make sure you and your entire team are already in the Events Discord.


All teams must have at least one player who is fluent in English. Furthermore, teams must stay in their Discord channel while playing; other voice communication services are not allowed. Keep in mind that by being in a roster for a team in the tournament, you are agreeing to being subject to our tournament rules. Links to the ruleset can be found below:
