Competitive Minecraft Project Update

Competitive Minecraft is ready to announce some new features that will enhance player interaction for the community and also help develop the brand and the games of competitive Minecraft. Minefaire Tournament Chicago

One of our great partner’s biggest conventions, we will be hosting a 5v5 Capture the Wool tournament at the event on September 21st and 22nd at 1551 Thoreau Dr N Schaumburg IL. We are expecting most of the teams to be comprised of people who have never played PVP before. Signups will be available online and at the event. The map pool consists of five 5v5 capture the wool maps that are being edited to fit "new players" understanding of the game.

Microsoft Stores Partnership

After our panel in New Jersey about CompMC, we were approached by Microsoft about our content. Dave, the community manager at a store in NJ asked if we would be interested in hosting tournaments in-store, and moving around to many other Microsoft stores. That following week we met with Dave over a voice call and settled a partnership that worked for both parties. All tournaments in Microsoft stores will be livestreamed and sponsored by CompMC. We are super excited to work with them on our project!

Blog & Social Media

We have opened up this blog for a better way to communicate news and other fun events to you. This will be our primary source as well as our socials that you can follow. We also have a Discord server full of ways to test maps before they are played at events or advertisements of events from servers that have these games. This will be updated regularly with interviews, videos and others that the community will enjoy.

T-shirt Design Content

We want our community to be part of the fun, whether it’s at the LAN events, having fun with our partners or even our creative part of the community. We will be hosting a T-shirt design content for our community. The winner of this content will get a prize that is being discussed by our Admin team, and of course your design will be featured by the CompMC brand. To enter, message Vice#4812 on Discord by signaling interest and sending in your design concepts; they will then be voted on by the administration before the next event. We are excited to share our amazing community’s art with the world. This contest ends on August 30th

We've partnered with the authors of our maps that will be played in the next tournament; we are looking for a minimalistic design of these maps in any perspective, as long as it involves Golden Drought V, Waropu 5: Made in Japan, Terricreus, Pallow, and Abstract. Fundraiser

We have set up an account on Fundly. Even though it is not required, we are looking for people who are passionate about donating their money towards CompMC. Sharing our fundraiser helps get the word out too, so share those social media posts! We will have creative and cool perks for donating to the organization, including all T-shirt sales will go into this. Our goal with the money is to set up more live events over the country in Microsoft stores to have more LAN parties and better experiences with our community. The CompMC administrative team would be very thankful for helping us achieve our dreams to bring CompMC to the forefront of Minecraft.
