We are excited to announce our fourth mini-tournament: Emperor of the Wool! This will be a quick and for some a nostalgic tournament playing the map Battle Ecliptica II TE.

By playing in this tournament you are agreeing to our ruleset and punishments within it.

Teams will play 3 other teams per match in a ‘Capture the Wool’ map; where each team has a wool that you must collect and place on your victory monument, the first team to do so wins.

We will decide on a bracket once we know how many teams will be accepted for this tournament. This will depend on how many teams sign up.

Accepting teams will have serious implications on the format that we will play so we will give more information about the bracket when we have it. Teams that register will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. Rosters are required to have a minimum of 6 players with a maximum of 7 players. As a team, you are required to field 4 players.

To register for this event, you must first have an account on our website. After creating an account, you can follow the registration guide on our FAQ here. Please remember that all members in the roster needs to accept their participation.

We use Discord to communicate with teams during events. Each team will have their own voice and text channel. Once your team is confirmed, an access token will appear on your team's page. Put the access token in the #registration channel in the Event Discord to be added to your team's text and voice channels.

>## Scrimmages ##

We have a team of Scrimmage Hosts who will be hosting public scrimmages on /server event. These run on a first come, first serve basis. When four or more teams are present, we follow these scrim guidelines.

For teams that would like to scrimmage frequently, we recommend renting a private server. These have all tournament maps loaded, as well as a variety of other competitive maps. We have recently both upgraded our private server box and automated the private server system to ensure that these servers will be fast to set up and to play on, as teams prepare for the tournament. All teams must have at least one player who is fluent in English. Furthermore, teams must stay in their Discord channel while playing; other voice communication services are not allowed. Links to the ruleset can be found below:

Battle Ecliptica II: TE is a 4 team CTW (Capture the Wool) map (see screenshot below for map layout). There are four teams: red, green, blue, yellow. Each team has one wool. To win the match, you must capture each team’s wool, i.e. ALL three (3) wools.

Should you manage to get in another team’s wool room, the wool room gear consists of the following potions: Speed, Saturation, Jump Boost, Regeneration and Resistance. The spawner spawns two wools per second.

Teams may choose to ally and team up with one another, to gang up on another team, if they so choose. It is up to each team to plan each match strategically.
