Stratus Duels: Season 3 ¶

Hello everyone! Today we are announcing the 3rd Season of Stratus Duels. This season comes with quite a few new features and quality of life upgrades, so let’s get right to it!

New Ladder: Bridges ¶

After weeks of public and private testing, we are now fully releasing Bridges! The ladder comes with 5 brand new maps (made by Claf ), which have been tested extensively by bridge regulars. You can see all 5 maps here.

More maps and improvements will be coming to this ladder in the future! If you have any suggestions, or if you want to make a map, please let us know in #duels in our main discord.

Ranked Ladders ¶

For this season, we’ve reduced the number of ranked ladders to three, all with their own unique set of skills:

Bridges: heavy emphasis on block placement/interaction with less of a focus on PVP
Iron: 100% pure PVP, balanced kit which isn’t too weak or tanky
FinalUHC: tanky kit with mix of block interaction and PVP, includes items such as rods and buckets

Don’t worry if your favorite ladder isn’t on this list — you’re still able to play them by /dueling another player.

We might have an exciting announcement regarding these ladders soon, so stay tuned.

Prize Pool and Giveaway ¶

The top global ELO wins $50 when this season ends in 1-2 months! We’re also planning more, and larger, prizes in the future!

We will also be giving away 3 Lunar or Badlion cosmetics ($15 of value or less) to three lucky people who retweet this tweet.

Winstreaks and Stats ¶

Alongside our ELO system, winstreaks are now tracked and displayed to players.

In the duels lobby, you will be able to see your current winstreak over the Ladder NPC. By entering the NPC GUI, you can see even more details stats such as Max Winstreak and W/L ratio.

We plan to add more stats and more leaderboards in the future, so stay tuned for that!

Map Picking ¶

When dueling a player using the duel GUI (when right clicking them), there is now an option to select which map you want to play. All you need to do is right click the ladder item and a new GUI will appear allowing you to select the map.

You can also choose a map using the /duel command as long as you know the map name by typing /duel <player> <map>.
This feature is live for every unranked ladder.
