Stratus Status #24, 2019-07-23
Hello everyone! Welcome to the twenty-fourth issue of Stratus Status, the official biweekly newsletter. Are you interested in recent network changes and what the community has been up to? If so, read on to get up-to-date about all things Stratus!
Stratus in Chicago
We're happy to announce our partnership with Minefaire, where we will host live LAN tournaments for players to compete in PGM-style gamemodes. The fair will take place on September 21st through the 22nd, in Chicago. For more information about the event, check out 
Development News
During the past two weeks most of the development work has been focused towards refining the plugins, fixing bugs, improving performance and internal changes. However, there have been a few notable additions:
- A significant number of optimisations to the plugin have been made, the overall performance has improved dramatically
- The sequential attribute for hills has been implemented
- Added different ingame staff communication channels
- Added double the jump kit
- During the UHC scatter, players now receive blindness and the time is frozen
- Horses and fire enchantments can now be disabled via config
- Added the blood diamond, golden retriever and noclean scenarios to UHC
New Maps
Over the past two weeks not much has happened in terms of new maps, due to the map development effort being put towards converting maps. However, one map has been added:
