We are thrilled to announce the first-ever 2v2 Capture the Flag mini-event, Duo CTF!

Team Information ¶

Teams must have a minimum of 2 players registered on their roster with a maximum of 3.

Gamemode ¶

CTF Capture The Flag; There is 1 flag on the map. Each team must capture the flag on the opponent’s side of the map. The team with 3 flag captures or the most captures by 8 minutes wins.

Format ¶

This event will take place over only one weekend; the qualifier on Saturday, October 15th, and the invitationals on Sunday, October 16th.

We will most likely be using Swiss for Qualifiers and Double-Elimination for Invitationals; please check our Discord regularly for updates.

We have decided to only allow 64 teams for this mini-event. This is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration ¶

You can register your team in #2v2-ctf-sign-up on our Events Discord located here.

Teams with team sizes of 3 will be prioritized in the 64 team capacity.

Maps ¶

The final map pool will contain 5 maps. The maps are not yet finalized, but they will be soon.

Scrimmages ¶

Scrimmages can be hosted by Scrim Hosts and certain staff members on /server Event1, Event2, or Event3. You can ping these hosts in #looking-for-host. Or, you can purchase a Personal Server from our shop, and host them yourself there. You can look for a scrim opponent by typing in the #looking-for-scrim channel in our Events Discord.

Rules ¶

Keep in mind that by being on a roster for a team in the tournament, you are agreeing to be subject to our tournament rules which can be found here.

Screensharing ¶

Like previous tournaments, we will use screensharing as a way to detect cheaters, including using 3rd party tools. By registering for this event, you also agree to be screenshared by us using our tools if requested. Please consult our full-length screenshare policy at stratus.network/ss.
