Stratus Status #12, 2019-01-29

Hello everyone! Welcome to the twelfth issue of Stratus Status, the official biweekly newsletter. Are you interested in recent network changes and what the community has been up to? If so, read on to get up-to-date about all things Stratus!

Development News

Private servers have received a much needed overhaul. To turn your server on, you will need to type /requestserver (or /re). For more details check ALM 's thread here. As for Operation Ares, these are the changes over the last two weeks:

  • Facets (known as modules in PGM) can now register commands, which are only active during that specific round

  • For users who can only see one boss bar at a time, bars will be cycled if more than one is active

  • New tab list with support for to up to 56 teams

  • Players are now told how many players are needed in each team in chat in order for the round to start

  • Translation files are now loaded from an external location, allowing to have a separate repo just containing translation files which will update automatically without any needed dev work

Prime Time Survey

Having finished with the Prime Time events, we want to ask you the community for feedback. Ny_  has compiled some questions about the Prime Time matches, regarding topics like stream quality, staff professionalism and future events. There are no answers which require a response; we will welcome all and any feedback. Check out the thread here. Expect the next event to be announced soon!
